Good to know.
- What counts as an element?
- Anything you place on a sheet: a definition, an expression, a note, a graph or a frame. Each project has its own allowance.
- What is a saved version?
- A snapshot you save yourself, with a name and a date, so you can go back to it later. Nothing is saved behind your back, so you choose what is worth keeping.
- How does the Student plan work?
- Sign up, or sign in with Google, using your school email address and confirm it. If it ends in .edu your account moves to the Student plan automatically, and you can still upgrade whenever you like. Once a year we ask you to reconfirm your school email with a link; if you don’t within ten days of the year ending, you move to Hobby, and nothing is deleted. School domains from other countries aren't accepted yet.
- Can I use Plus or Pro for work?
- Hobby, Student, Plus and Pro are for personal, educational and other non-commercial use. If you use Mathora in the course of a business, for an employer or for paid client work, you need the Business plan, which also covers your team. This is part of our Terms.
- What if I go over a limit or change plan?
- Nothing is deleted, but projects over the new limit are locked: your most recently edited ones stay open and the rest can't be opened until you upgrade again or delete projects to get back under it. You can always download all your data from Settings.
- Can I get my work out?
- Always. Every project exports to .json and imports back, and your account page can download everything you own.
